Additional Details: Friday 9/19 CPR Training followed by a Social at 7 Seas

Hi Pickleball Friends,

Here's some additional details about our Friday CPR training at Crescent Creek and our social at 7 Seas.

1. YES, we will be playing pickleball at Crescent Creek while the CPR training is being conducted on the basketball court.
2. The CPR trainers will have four stations set up so that everyone can cycle through quickly. It's a fifteen minute "course" on how to administer CPR for an adult and how to use an AED (defibrillator)
3. The CPR training is being conducted by certified instructors but you will not be "certified" after you take this training (but you might help save someone's life anyway!). If you would like to become certified you can register for the 3 hour course that is offered by the Gig Harbor Fire Department ($35) ​
4. We'll head over to 7 Seas for our celebration of heroes and life around 11am (7 Seas opens at 11). Please be patient with the staff there as they will be doing everything they can to accommodate our large group. Burgers, sandwiches and more are available from The Galley food truck that also opens for business at 11am.
5. At the 7 Seas we will continue to accept donations for a portable AED for Andy that he can use wherever he might be
6. Nanette is continuing to work with the City of Gig Harbor to get an AED installed at Crescent Creek Park. More on that as updates are available.

AED for Crescent Creek Park​
Nanette is also working with the City to get an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) installed at the park.

Andy is purchasing a portable AED to keep in his car so he can help save lives wherever he might be. George Long and I are running a small fundraiser to reimburse him. If you’d like to chip in:
